Mission Statement

Hope Station Christian Centre (希望小站), a Bible-based ministry with a focus on peer support training, will provide free offsite training events in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, and Edmonton for individuals wishing to provide peer counselling (also known as “caring”), based on Biblical principles. In contrast to psychological counselling, Bible-based caring seeks to carefully and thoughtfully discover those areas in which an individual in need of counseling may be disobedient to Christian principles and to the commands of Scripture. Bible-based caring then aims to help the individual to learn to lovingly submit to God's will and to discover a path to recovery through the teachings of Scripture. Biblically sound Christian caring begins with the principle that God’s holiness was vindicated at the cross.
